The OK Collective is the collaborative outlet for Oliver Cloke and Kathy Heyward.

The OK Collective explores notions of perception, creativity and interaction.

Previously we have been involved in varied projects such as ‘The Black Hole Project’ where both members secreted themselves within a 3 metre square room for the duration of a week. Within this space and time – an experiment in the ways of communication and making art – preselected materials were manipulated through discussion and collaborative construction and were formed into a 4 dimensional work, built environment. Physically, what was produced became irrelevant, except as means to highlight the process and exchange of ideas. However, for means of progressing the concept, documentation manifested in the form of a limited edition book containing images and text from the all aspects of the project.

We wish for this interactivity to provide a self-questioning, that will happen when viewers leave the space and venture into the outside world of art. Hoping to divert the preconditions for viewing artworks. We hope that the future of art shall be the production of creative, divisive, communicative artworks.
